March 16th, 2012. Day +371   6 comments

Amy and I would like to ask you to pray for Mitch and his family.  Just before Christmas, Mitch had undergone a successful haplo-transplant with his father’s stem cells to fight his relapsed AML.

He is now back in the hospital with a very serious fungal lung infection that will require very risky surgery.

Thanks,

Lon and Amy

  1. Prayers going up for Mitch, and for skilled hands doing his surgery.

  2. So sorry to hear of your friends situation – praying for Mitch and his family.

  3. We’ll be lifting Mitch and his family up to the Lord in prayer. Appreciate you letting us know about his condition.

  4. We are praying. I enjoyed talking with and sharing a few tears with Grandpa Elske and brother Dean as I gave Dean his chemo this weekend. You are an inspiration to us and I enjoyed hearing about the Disney trip. That is going to be Austin’s Make A Wish as well. We are coming to a intense part of treatment for him, but after this part, he will finally be in maintenance and things will get a little more normal. I hope Austin and CJ can one day play soon.

  5. We are praying. I enjoyed talking with and shedding a few tears with Grandpa Elske while giving Dean his chemo this weekend. You all are an inspiration and I loved hearing about Disney. That is going to be Austin’s wish of course as well. We hope that Austin and CJ can meet and play soon. Sounds like they are a lot alike.
