Today was the first day of Charlotte’s second chemo drug.  So far she has done pretty well with everything.  She woke up and was happy to see Grandma W right away.  They played and had a good time.  Charlotte really missed her.

CJ had a couple of really needy moments this morning where she just cried and cried for a few minutes.  She also saw a couple of helicopters land on the roof of the UW hospital.  After her short nap, she had another crying episode and was doubled over like she was in pain.  Eventually she threw up all over Mommy in the chair.  She wasn’t happy about it either, but she again rested for a little while.  Later on in the evening, she seemed to be pretty good.  She was back and playing and even had a couple of snacks.  We are just hoping that it was related to the two larger doses of busulfan last night and the cytoxan this morning maybe being  little too hard on her.  We hope she has a restful, uneventful night.
