Charlotte had a little rough night of sleeping.  She was very uneasy the entire night.  Always moving around and streching, sometimes whining in her sleep.  Her breathing was also a little fast most of the night.  When she woke up throughout the night, we would ask her if she felt ok and she always responded “Yes” so maybe she was just having some dreams or something.  We will see how tonight goes.

Otherwise it was a pretty good day at the hospital.  Charlotte felt good the entire day and ate pretty good too.  She is still a little behind on her fluid intake, but she has been on IV fluids since spiking her fever Thursday so she probably is just not that thirsty.  Dr Diamond did take her off the vancomycin today to prevent further damage to her kidneys so she can be a little healthier before transplant.  This afternoon marked 72 hours since her last feverish temperature.  She had to get her port reaccessed today so she was a little unhappy with that, but again, she recovered quickly and was ready to play and have more fun.  She ended up not going to sleep until after midnight-she just wanted to say up and babble in bed all night.

Molly is also doing pretty well.  The medicine seems to have helped her fussiness a great deal and she just is a happier baby overall.

  1. How great to see the turn-around in Charlotte’s demeanor. Auntie Lynn always likes to hear that she’s playing and eating again. Love to you, hope the doctors have good news today!!

  2. Hope you had a good day yesterday Charlotte. We are all with you.
